Shared SSL IP in Hosting
You shall be able to use this option with all our hosting plans and with any SSL certificate issued from any retailer. If you choose to work with an SSL from our company, everything can be set up automatically and you'll not have to do anything after you purchase and approve the certificate. The SSL order wizard will permit you to choose a shared IP address to be used and the SSL to be set up by our system, so using this feature requires no more than 2 additional mouse clicks after you fill the necessary details for the certificate. The appropriate operation of the SSL won't be impacted in any way and any information that website visitors submit on your website shall be encrypted and protected in the same exact way. The sole difference from using a dedicated address is that http:// shall not open your site, but it is extremely unlikely that anyone will ever seek to access it this way rather than entering your domain name in the Internet browser URL bar.
Shared SSL IP in Semi-dedicated Servers
The shared IP address option is available with all semi-dedicated hosting plans and the setup takes just two mouse clicks inside the hosting Control Panel irrespective if you order an SSL from our business or from a third-party vendor. There will not be any difference in terms of how the certificate functions or encodes the information that your site visitors submit, so your Internet site shall be secure without having to spend the additional money for a dedicated IP. The sole thing that will be different is that https://the-shared-IP won't open your site, unlike https://the-dedicated-IP, but it is highly unlikely that anyone will ever try to access your internet site in this way rather than keying in your domain name. Additionally we offer an auto-configuration option for the SSLs bought through our company and if you select it and you choose to use a shared IP address as opposed to a dedicated one, our system shall set everything up as soon as the SSL is approved and issued with no need for any action on your end.
